Intelligence REIMAGINED Pavilion at The 5th World Intelligence Congress

Kicking off in late May, the 5th World Intelligence Congress was held at the Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center in Tianjin. Themed ‘New Era of Intelligence: Empowering New Development, Fostering New Pattern’, the four-day congress featured summits and forums covering topics such as scientific research and applications, smart cities and smart living. An exhibition area gave companies an opportunity to display their latest developments and connect with participants.

Pico’s involvement came via appointments by the organizing committee of World Intelligence Congress and several individual clients. For the former, the team designed the Intelligence REIMAGINED Pavilion to accommodate Singaporean and international companies.

Solution

Pico’s services were turnkey and comprehensive; in addition to designing the pavilion, the team provided the recruited exhibitors with pre-event consultation services including sharing congress information and theming requirements, and devising product exhibition and presentation formats. Event management services included support for on-site operations. The team also assisted the brands in creating content by providing editing, translation and production expertise to help the brands offer insights to their technologies and applications and interact effectively with visitors and delegates at the exhibition.

A large screen in the pavilion served as a unified display for the companies’ new technologies. These were supplemented by multimedia and interactive screens and tablets which exhibitors could use individually to demonstrate the strengths of their products, case studies and applications.

Guests could also engage in a number of offline experiences in the pavilion, such as a demonstration of smart transportation using traffic lights installation. Elsewhere, the exhibitors created scenarios to attract visitors to discover the workings of product tracing and tracking technology.

From the firms’ perspective, it was a prime opportunity to introduce themselves to the China market. Leveraging the Group’s global network, the Pico team ensured that parties at different locations could communicate effectively. As the pandemic’s status in many countries was unpredictable during the project period, seamless coordination was vital for accomplishing the missions of both congress’ organizing committee in China and participating exhibitors from Singapore.

Results
  • The pavilion generally hosted more than 50 visitors simultaneously during the congress
  • By the event’s end, each company had received an average of 30 enquiries from interested government units and companies
