(‘Pico’), as a founder-strategic investor, joined 263 Network Communications Co., Ltd. (‘Net263 Ltd.’) and Shanghai Wocheng Information Technology Limited (‘China Unicom’s subsidiary Shanghai Wocheng’) to launch YAOLAND, a new HTML5 metaverse platform, in July 2022. Designed to be suitable for brands in all industries, it is a cost-effective, immersive gamified virtual marketing platform requiring no downloads to use.

The exhibition runs from January to July 2022.
To ensure an impactful visitor experience, ASM chose to work closely with Pico on the exhibition’s creative conceptualisation, overall brand identity, space planning and design. The Pico team was also responsible for the exhibition’s actual construction.
Livat’s trademark European-style sustainable multi-functional mall experience arrived in Hunan, China with the opening of a new centre in Changsha in July 2021.
Always anchored by an IKEA store, Livat malls are designed around more than just shopping, entertainment and food; they also lend themselves to leisure and socialising. The new location is set to become a popular spot for the community and tourists to meet and enjoy their Scandinavian style surroundings.
‘Wynn Macau Week 2021’ was one outcome of a collaboration between the renowned hotel brand and the Macau SAR Government to rejuvenate tourism by promoting Macau as a destination of choice. Between late March and early June, the ‘Wynn Macau Week 2021’ roadshow visited Hangzhou, Nanjing and Shanghai to take its message directly to a target audience of city residents and visitors.

Getting ready to wow online audiences in January 2021 is Hydeout: The Prelude, a new digital music entertainment experience.
Hydeout imagines a new norm for the music and entertainment space, promoting inclusivity and diversity by attracting music lovers from across a wide spectrum of genres. With exclusively designed social features such as games, chatrooms and custom avatars, Hydeout highlights the vast potential of online interaction while virtually connecting like-minded people.
In the Kingdom of Bahrain, many businesses coped with COVID-19’s economic challenges with a strong dose of creativity. This was particularly true for those in the hard-hit recreation sector.
One standout idea was the launch of Bahrain’s first and only drive-in cinema. Created and operated by Pico and Mukta A2 cinemas for an initial period between July 2020 and January 2021, it would be located centrally in Manama on a site of approximately 15,000 sq. m. at Bahrain Bay.

When new owners took over the park in 2016 they requested Pico Play to transform the 32-hectare park into a viable and sustainable tourist destination.
Pico Play worked with the owners to understand the heritage of the park and determine what key features and concepts were important to be retained in the new development.
After reviewing the competitive landscape and understanding the target customer they were able to develop a profile of the type of concept that would be successful.
Working with the new owners they were able to determine the most appropriate budget for stage 1 to be successful and provide the impetus for future investment.
View the case studyPico were appointed as a major theming design and build contractor for four of the seven zones at Universal Studios Singapore, undertaking more than SGD40m in contract delivery. The project was executed in an incredible period of 15 months from October 2008 to February 2010 due to the Clients' requirement to open the theme park in sync with the adjacent hotels and casinos.
The design team based in Kuala Lumpur fast-tracked the design development and construction documentation stages by prioritising the elements with the longest lead times in order for procurement and off-site fabrication stages to begin early in the development process.
