Uber Elevate Summit 2018

The idea of flying cars has long been science fiction fantasy – this summit needed to overcome that perception and create informed, thought-provoking dialogue, while also generating enough buzz and excitement to attract large numbers of executives and specialists as attendees and draw in enough experts to serve as speakers and presenters. The summit, crucially, also needed to provide enough varied content that was important enough to this diverse group so that they would leave prepared to take the next steps in the evolution of urban aviation.

Infinity Marketing Team (IMT) were asked to event manage the two-day Uber Elevate summit for the UberAir branch of the company.



IMT’s dedicated team developed the full scope of the event concept and strategies, while also providing full show management services, creative and graphic design, exhibit and stage build management, AV and lighting direction and many more services.

The entire summit was exciting, wild and new. Held at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, the two-day summit featured multiple plenary stages, immersive experiences, interactive spaces and networking events, including a picnic lunch and an evening extravaganza. Attendees included professionals from aircraft manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, government policy makers and regulators and even NASA.

There was also, in collaboration with partner Bell Helicopter, a VR ride where attendees sat inside a full-scale electric vertical take off and landing vehicle to experience the feeling of flying over traffic.
