As one of the world’s most influential events for the connectivity industry, MWC (Mobile World Congress) Barcelona 2022 serves as a rendezvous for the sector’s biggest names. OPPO, one of the world’s leading smart device innovators, showcased an array of new connectivity products and breakthroughs in AR and 5G at the exhibition. Themed ‘Shape the Future’, the brand’s booth was activated with Pico’s design and build, exhibition planning and operation services.
The minimalist booth design featured distinctive white rippled decorations which symbolised the ‘borderless’ nature of OPPO’s technological developments. The futuristic style also echoed the brand’s core themes of 5G, Cloud, communications and sustainability.
To showcase OPPO’s wide-ranging business and products, the booth was organized into five major exhibition areas, including ‘Brand’, ‘Flagship’, ‘Smartphone Technology’, ‘5G’ and ‘AR Ecosystem’, allowing visitors to tour through each in a flowing, easy succession.
As well as products, the booth also featured one of the exhibition’s highlights: a special ‘Midnight Barcelona’ sandbox whose lighting effects and realistic models simulated an evocative view of the city at night. The sandbox also provided visitors with a fun and immersive way to try OPPO’s new low light and anti-shake photography functions.
