Themed ‘Combine, Gather and Change’, the 2021 edition of the annual Tencent Classroom Institution Conference saw nearly a thousand online lifelong education institutions discuss the digitalisation of their industry during an event that deftly combined live broadcasting with in-person session for media. Pico was appointed to facilitate nearly every aspect of the event, providing a turnkey service that included on-site stage fabrication and set-up, live broadcast planning, promotional video shooting, and overall event execution.
As well as various conference sessions, the programme included an introduction to Tencent Classroom’s latest upgrades. The online highlight, however, was a live broadcast segment featuring guest speeches, a media Q&A session, and a pair of ceremonies – one for awards, and one certificate presentation to recognised institutions.
Notably, the Pico team broadcast both ceremonies using picture-in-picture and animation videos, bringing awarded institutions’ logos and the live emcee onto the same screen to enhance the audience experience.
